Naomi Campbell's spectacular fall on the Paris catwalk in 1993 wearing a towering pair of ten-inch Vivienne Westwood boots made fashion history.
And last night it seemed that one model was following in the supermodel's footsteps as she tumbled three times at the Fashion For Relief show held in Cannes.
Rivalling Miss Campbell's memorable fall, 17-year-old Lindsey Wixson tripped up as she strutted the runway in a voluminous, golden silk gown.

Her agent, Cheri Bowen at Marilyn Agency, told WWD: 'She’s incredibly intelligent about the business. She’s not about selling out.'The charity show and auction, organised by Miss Campbell, attracted a swathe of celebrities out to support the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami which devastated Japan's east coast in March.
Celebrating her 41st birthday this week, she opened the show at the historic Forville Market wearing designs by Yves Saint Laurent, Marchesa and Alexander McQueen.

Supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Hollywood legend Jane Fonda also took to the stage, as did Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth who was joined by his wife Wilnelia, a former Miss World.
Other stars spotted at the fundraiser included Tamara Beckwith, Ivana Trump, Roberto Cavalli, Kenneth Cole, Japan Vogue editor Anna Della Russo and Miss Campbell's mother Valerie.

Many were already in town for the 64th Cannes Film Festival.
Miss Campbell rounded up a cast of top models for her fashion show, selecting other guests to take to the runway including Grace Hightower, the wife of Robert De Niro who is the president of this year’s Cannes jury.
Among the male models was the tennis star Novak Djokovic, who auctioned one of his rackets for the cause and fetched 28,000 Euros.

Miss Campbell attended at the after party at the Baoli club with her partner, billionaire Vladimir Doronin taking a table behind the DJ booth, where she ordered bottles of champagne for friends and danced non-stop until 5am.
Cannes jury members Jude Law and Uma Thurman also made an appearance.
Other auction items included artworks by Jeff Koons and Tracey Emin, and David La Chapelle's photograph of a naked Naomi and an astronaut, called Houston We Have A Problem.
All proceeds from the show’s ticket sales and auction directly benefited the relief efforts of the Red Cross for Earthquake and Tsunami victims in Japan.
To date Fashion for Relief has raised an estimate £4.5million for charity.
Miss Campbell said: 'The destruction caused by the earthquake is completely heartbreaking, it's so hard to even begin to comprehend the tragic loss the people of Japan are coping with.
'I felt very passionate to try and help in whatever way possible, to do our part and to support Japan at this time.
