Child Protective Services had been called last week in after reports of 'drinking and drugs' going on in the Carey's hospital room after the birth of the twins.
Cannon told CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight last Thursday that the incident began after a nurse told Mariah about a traditional method of improving the yeast in breast milk.
'It all started where a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness or a small amount of Guinness, the dark beer, that the yeast improves breastfeeding', he said.
