It is the moment most parents look forward to as they finally get to take their new baby home.
And for Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon they were delighted to be taking their first car ride with their precious twins Moroccan and Monroe as they drove the bundles of joy home from the hospital on Saturday.
In first pictures of Mariah since she gave birth to her son and daughter on April 30, the singer looked glowing and very happy to finally be a mother.

Cannon, 30, and Carey have been under investigation after the television host said someone may have overheard a nurse suggesting to Mariah to 'drink Guinness... the yeast improves breast-feeding'.
The couple have already been visited by CPS but the case will officially be closed after they receive a visit by a case worker at their home which should only last approximately 30 minutes.

But husband and television personality Nick Cannon is not taking to fatherhood too well and says he is 'freaked out about being a new dad'.
On his radio show today, Cannon said he is worried about the babies suffocating or having to possibly give them CPR one day.

Cannon told CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight last Thursday that the incident began after a nurse told Mariah about a traditional method of improving the yeast in breast milk.
'It all started where a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness or a small amount of Guinness, the dark beer, that the yeast improves breastfeeding', he said.
'Then they were saying that my wife was drinking beer and all that stuff. It’s like people would do anything to conjure up a story.'
He said once he spoke to the Child Protective Services explaining that the comment was clearly taken out of context, all was resolved.
Cannon also recently revealed that his wife is not expected to reduce her work schedule even though she is now a mother of two.

The unusual monikers of the children have sentimental value to the couple, who renewed their marriage vows on the same day the children were born.
The top tier of Mariah’s New York City apartment is called the Moroccan Room, because of the Moroccan-inspired decor, and it is the room where Nick proposed to his wife.
