But while other racegoers soaked up the extravagance and excess of the event yesterday, the previous day’s most memorable visitor was at home recovering.
Model Anneka Tanaka-Svenska, 35, whose 2ft fake hair and cabbage roses headpiece weighed 6lb, said: ‘I kept it on for two hours and must admit I took a packet of painkillers with me.

Meanwhile, Stacey Solomon kept with the flower theme by wearing a pretty summer printed dress but decided to leave her hat at home.
The former X Factor contestant, 21, was also sporting her very long hair extensions and nude peep toe heels.
Solomon has recently come back from a holiday in Spain, where she attended Max Clifford’s Golf Challenge fun-raising weekend at La Cala resort in Mijas.
