It seems there’s not an English footballer left in Britain at the moment and Arsenal striker Theo Walcott is the latest player to whisk his girlfriend away for a beach break.
The 22-year-old was spotted lounging in the sun with Melanie Slade at one of the French Riviera’s luxury hotels.
As they enjoyed the five star service poolside at the Cap Estel Hotel, Theo made sure to stay safe in the stun by asking Melanie to rub sunscreen on his back.

The footballer also covered his face with a charcoal hat, while his long-time girlfriend looked pretty in a peach bikini.
The WAG, also 22, later changed into a navy blue two-piece and let her hair down to go for a swim with her boyfriend.The cute couple frolicked in the water in-between lying in the sun together.
Melanie, who is studying physiotherapy at St George’s Hospital in London is the latest WAG to be taken on an exotic holiday following the end of the football season.

Melanie and Theo have been dating since meeting in 2004 at the WestQuay shopping centre in Southampton.
But she first came to the nation’s attention almost five years ago when Walcott was a surprise selection for the World Cut squad.
Last year Melanie made headlines by declining Walcott’s gift of a Ferrari for her 21st birthday.

He gave her the £140,000 Ferrari California with personalised number plates last January, but she told him she didn’t want it and was more than happy with her £20,000 white VW Beetle that he had bought her for her 18th birthday.

Meanwhile, Theo told the Telegraph earlier this month that he can understand why some players are keen to leave his team Arsenal after six seasons without a trophy.
He said: ‘I can understand why some players might be frustrated and thinking of leaving. They want to win things and we haven’t done that for six years.’
