It seems that The View's Sherri Shepherd is one forward planner.
While most women would be focusing on getting into shape for their big wedding day, the newly engaged 44-year-old is thinking even more into the future.
The comedienne has revealed that she is on a mission to slim down in preparation to have a baby with her fiancé, TV writer, Lamar Sally.

Sherri has often discussed her battle with diabetes and her struggle with fertility in the past.

In addition to her favourite Zuma classes and her strict South Beach Diet, Sherri has also revealed that she has enlisted the help of a personal trainer to whip her into shape.
'I go at 7 in the morning, four times a week to see my trainer over at the Reebok Club,' she said. 'She's doing a lot of interval training with me, and these things called suicides. Those are really tough.'
Sherri's even incorporated some of her wedding planning to her fitness regime.
Recently, she went to a wedding dance class with her bridesmaids Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Niecy Nash, Kym Whitley and Nicole Brown and the group of girls worked up a sweat.
'We just got back from L.A. rehearsing a choreographed dance for eight hours,' she said. 'Everybody threw out their back. They were tired and bruised!'
Sherri and her boyfriend Lamar got engaged on Boxing Day last year, after he surprised her with a ring in a dish of M&Ms.
The happy couple, who were introduced by mutual friends, released a statement to People Magazine describing the proposal.
'Upon arriving back to Lamar's home in Los Angeles from a trip to San Diego, Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal's best friends,' read the statement.
'Her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri's favourite but forbidden M&M's (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box.
'With that, Sal took a knee and, backed up by the King of Pop, popped the question.'

Lamar reportedly sought permission from Sherri's son Jeffrey before he asked for her hand and the pair are planning a a wedding this summer in Chicago.
This will be the second marriage for Sherri, who was married to comedian Jeff Tarpley from 2001to 2009.
The couple separated in 2006 after she discovered he was having an affair - a situation which she then based her sitcom Sherri on.
