A Taiwanese professor found a new crab species that bore certain similarities to a strawberry. Professor He Pinghe of the National Taiwan Ocean University tentatively named the newly discovered crabs "Xin Hua Ban Xie" (new pedal crab), but they were quickly nicknamed "strawberry" crabs due to their distinctive colour and markings.
