Serena Williams has certainly given people something to tweet about.
The tennis star was forced to remove a half-naked picture of herself hours after she used it as her avatar Twitter, amid online outcry.
The 29-year-old initially put the saucy snap of her posing in high heels and wearing matching lingerie up on Thursday.

Some online sporting websites were particularly confused about Serena's apparent recklessness.
'It’s a sexy photo, she looks great and it’s not pornographic. To be honest, I would actually find it to be somewhat artistic if it weren’t for the serious business of stalking women,' Greg Couch of The Sporting News wrote.
'What was her message anyway? What was she trying to say? Just this: Look at me. Instead, what she was saying was this: Peep at me, but don’t stalk me. Huh?
'Someone must have gotten to her and suggested something about common sense and hypocrisy.'
Dangerous: Many deemed the posting irresponsible, following the arrest of Patenema Ouedraogo, pictured here, for stalking the tennis star after consistently following her every move on Twitter
The 40-year-old was caught on the grounds of Williams' Palm Beach Gardens estate.
Local police say that he tried to walk into the subdivision but was stopped by security guards at her sprawling mansion.
When he was asked for his driver's license, authorities found out that he had been named by Williams as a suspected stalker.

Ouedraogo has now been charged with stalking and cyber-stalking and his bond has been set at $25,000. If he makes bail he will be placed under house arrest.
Serena had taken out a temporary restraining order against Ouedraogo but because he could not be found it was never served.
The accused man said he knew where Serena was all of the time because of her twitter updates.

Safe: Williams was not at home during the arrest as she was in New York attending the Met Gala
Ouedraogo had become well known to Serena's security team and the tennis ace has said that she is 'terrified' of him.
He first tried to contact Williams in October while she was visiting her agent.
Williams' representative said Ouedraogo made several unsuccessful attempts to enter the building and contact her.
He returned the following day saying he wanted to promote her clothing line and television show in Africa.
Ouedraogo also apparently tried to pretend he was Williams' assistant while she was appearing at the Home Shopping Network in Tampa last month.
An attempt at contacting the tennis star, who is the sister of fellow athlete Venus, was also made while she was a Hollywood radio station in April.
An arrest report states that Ouedraogo got dangerously close to the star and was given access to her dressing room.
When it was realised that he was not who he claimed to be, he was escorted from the building but then waited outside.
Ouedraogo has been ordered to stay at least 500 feet from Williams'
