Christian Louboutin's bid to own exclusivity over red-soled shoes has been dealt a blow after a French court has ruled Zara can sell their own heels using the colour.
The designer had sued the high street chain saying they had copied his Yo Yo slingbacks. But a French court has ruled that Zara's cut-price version could not be confused with the designer's.
