Beyonce seems to want to make sure she is composed in the moment the lift doors open and she was presented to the public once again. 

'She has an image of being the 'perfect woman' and it's as if nothing should compromise that - she will come out of that lift as if nothing has happened, no matter what. 

'The singer doesn't want to mess her hair and make-up, she even picks up the train of her dress at one point during the attack.

Judi notes that Beyonce's next few moments indicate where her alliances lie. 

'It's important that she glances at Solange and not Jay Z as she leaves the lift which suggests who she is protecting. Not to mention the fact that she left in a car with her sister and not her husband. 

'Solange is not so out of control that the bodyguard feels the need to hold onto her when she leaves the lift.

'He is confident that she will not hit out again in front of the cameras.'

It has since been claimed that Solange had a furious row with Kim Kardashian’s best friend on the same night. 

UsWeekly reports that the singer first lost her temper with fashion designer Rachel Roy, a close friend of Kim Kardashian before her attack on Jay Z.

Then, Solange can be clearly be seen kicking and swinging violently at Jay Z, the father of her two-year-old niece, Blue Ivy, after the trio step into the elevator.

The clip shows a man who appears to be a bodyguard holding her back, but the 27-year-old still manages to rain blows on Jay Z several times.

The bodyguard can also be seen pushing the emergency stop button in the elevator at the 12th floor, no doubt to stop the fight spilling out in front of photographers.   

The cause of the argument is not yet known.
