And at the Academy of Country Music Awards this week, Rihanna sported yet another new hairstyle - new to her, anyway.
The short crop looked remarkably familiar, perhaps because it was the same look favoured by The Beatles in the Sixties.

Another big name fan of the Beatles' crop is Justin Bieber. The teen sensation only recently chopped his famous hair into a shorter 'do, after sporting the heavy, side-swept look for two years.
Rihanna still had the bouffant style from last month when she posed for a steamy photoshoot for Australian FHM.

She discussed her first film role, in upcoming sci-fi action movie Battleship, alongside Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgaard.
Speaking about the 'scary' military instructor hired to train her in using weapons, she told the magazine: 'It was so scary. It was horrible.
'I just wanted to scream right back at him, but I couldn’t.'
