She's gone from long flowing brunette waves, to a jet black bob and then undercut, and more recently, a flame-red afro.
And at the Academy of Country Music Awards this week, Rihanna sported yet another new hairstyle - new to her, anyway.
The short crop looked remarkably familiar, perhaps because it was the same look favoured by The Beatles in the Sixties.

The colour is clearly not the same, and the mop a touch sleeker, but that's where the differences end.

  

The heavy fringe, a little side-swept, and the mop the short boyish crop hark back to John, Paul, Ringo and George's heyday.

The What's My Name singer performed California King Bed at the ceremony with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.
Another big name fan of the Beatles' crop is Justin Bieber. The teen sensation only recently chopped his famous hair into a shorter 'do, after sporting the heavy, side-swept look for two years.
Rihanna still had the bouffant style from last month when she posed for a steamy photoshoot for Australian FHM.

The singer posed in just a pair of fishnet stockings for the magazine.
She discussed her first film role, in upcoming sci-fi action movie Battleship, alongside Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgaard.
Speaking about the 'scary' military instructor hired to train her in using weapons, she told the magazine: 'It was so scary. It was horrible.
'I just wanted to scream right back at him, but I couldn’t.'

She also discussed her numerous tattoos, naming the phrase 'never a failure, always a lesson,' across her chest, as her favourite.
