As a former professional boxer, Laila Ali is well aware of the importance of good timing when sparring in the ring.
And today the 33-year-old didn't disappoint when she delivered her second child bang on schedule.
Laila tweeted this afternoon to reveal she had given birth a baby girl, Sydney, in the early hours of this morning - the date she was due to be born.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: 'I had my baby girl this morning! Sydney arrived on her due date at 3am!' Everyone is happy and healthy.'
Laila, the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, already has a two-year-old son, Curtis 'CJ' Muhammad Jr with her husband Curtis Conway.

Just two months ago Laila took to the runway at the Heart Truth Fall 2011 fashion show during New York Fashion Week, showing off her baby bump in a flowing red gown.
