Sky-scraping red soled Louboutins may be the height of fashion, but if you really want to stand out from the crowd you can't do much better that swanning around in one of Kobi Levi's creations.
The Israeli artist is behind an innovative range of high heels with each pair designed to look like a different bird.
One pair resembles a colourful mallard, with other heels moulded to resemble a swan or toucan's beak.
His first creations were sculptures inspired by Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe's curvy figure.
Over the years his collection has mushroomed and has included shoes that resemble bananas, sling shots, dogs and cats.
He said: 'It is important to me that they will be real shoes and not sculptures or toys.
'The technical development is very demanding, but I enjoy the challenge.'
The shoes may look impressive, but they don't come cheap. Levi kept tight-lipped about the price of each pair but did say the time, effort and materials put into each made them expensive.
