If the contents of a woman's handbag truly reflect her personality, then the following list speaks volumes about U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Chilli flakes, mineral water spray, a medical kit, mesh bags, make-up and some photographs in case of autograph requests are among the items that reside in Mrs Clinton's purse, according to her deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedin.
They comprise a partial list of essentials - no matter where she travels in the world.

For Mrs Clinton, who has travelled to 80 countries during her 15 months in office, anti-jetlag measures are not surprisingly key.
Refreshing mineral water mists and mesh bags, which she 'loves' for organizing alcohol wipes, make-up and lint rollers, are must-haves, according to Ms Abedin.
She also carries head shots - in case anyone asks for a signed photo, and an emergency medical kit with basics like paracetamol and ibuprofen for headaches and bandages in case of cuts and scrapes.
But the 'most important thing', according to Ms Abedin? Pepper flakes.
Mrs Clinton's penchant for spicy food is reportedly so notorious flight stewards bring jalapeƱo slices to her with every dish.
Other handbag items include an iPad - used strictly for research and reading news clips - headphones, a permanent marker, an air travel pillow and international plug socket converters, so her BlackBerry can charge anywhere in the world.
And in the event the mobile device slips, buzzing into the dark depths of her tote, Mrs Clinton is well-equipped to fish it out - she also carries a miniature flashlight.

It may seem like a load, but we can expect her to travel a little more light after she steps down from her globe-trotting post in the next two years.
Mrs Clinton revealed earlier this month she will not serve a second term as Secretary of State if Barack Obama is re-elected in 2012; nor will she entertain a second run for president.

Political office or not, Mrs Clinton has long supported fashion as a unifying force for women around the world - and we expect she will continue.
She told Harper's Bazaar last month: 'I do love a good handbag. I think they could be either a great divider or uniter.
'I think we should be united in our support of one another. Because this is like a deep psychological need.
'It's a desire to kind of organise and contain that which is important to you in your daily life,' she said.
