Baby EllaSo on the 13th of April.... our lives changed.... yes... forever changed.....
How we have been awaiting for this fine day, and its so unreal that it came and now is just a memory..... one that we will celebrate every year!
How can a life give you so much joy and happiness? I wonder.... truly God gives an everlasting love and happiness and that is what these two girls of mine are giving me.
I have to thank the Lord for his blessings ..... then those who really played a big part in preparing the arrival of baby.
To my sister Anitha.... what can I say.... I actually feel like crying....well very happy tears that is....
What you have done for us jamani how can I even put it in words? From the baby shower to making sure that everything is perfect as perfect can be.... As Erica once put it, you are an angel put on earth to look after us!
Then there is both of our families and friends, Its impossible to name each one of you and what you have done for us to prepare for baby, please accept our sincere "thank you" from the bottom of our hearts!
Just when I thought Patrick will not experience this time round in theater, God never seem to amaze me but last minute as I was wheeled in I was asked by my pal, Shaffiq if I would prefer a spinal block rather than a GA and of course my reaction was "yes please" not caring the pain that will follow but my condition was "Patrick has to be in" of which he was asked straight away to prepare to join in the surgery!
So yes he was there.... bless him.... he even had energy to make some videos and pics.... while still making sure he was right beside me holding my hand telling me "its alright, they are almost done" while I could see in his eyes how nervous he was but still had to keep it together for my sake!
This time round it was painful..... uwiiii.... the whole experience.... but as I now look at Ella, as she is about to "demand" for her feed.... I say "to hell with the pain!" it was damn worth it!
So now, I'm a mother of two... my girls, Emily and Ella, mummy loves you ridiculously.... well, we shall try not to rule this household too much, ok girls?
