We love a trend that we can easily replicate with items we already own - but not when those items are usually kept in our fridge.
As such, we're not sure the trend of making a pair of high heels out of a stale cheese sandwich is going to catch on.
Fashion student Lisa Dillon from Bath Spa University designed and made a pair 'Jimmy Cheese' shoes using bread and West Country cheddar.

The front of the shoe was moulded from more cheddar and extra cheese was melted and shaped to embellish the design.
Dillon's cheesey footwear is part of a range by students from Bath Spa University.

Pilgrims Choice Cheddar commissioned the range using their own cheese to launch a national 'cheese couture; competition.
Spokeswoman Hannah Jenkins said: 'Our sponsorship of the National Cheese Awards has become the high point of the year for consumers and visitors to the Show who love cheese.

The shoes can be seen at The Royal Bath and West Show from 1 to 4 June at the Bath & West Showground at Shepton Mallet in Somerset.
