Anything Prince William and Kate Middleton could do, Las Vegas casino billionaire Steve Wynn was trying to do better.
And while his weekend wedding to British sweetheart Andrea Hissom was no Royal occasion, the casino king and his bride clearly did their best to match the event of the year.
With her elaborate lace sleeves and plunging neckline, it was almost as if Hissom had known what Kate was going to wear to her big day and made sure she had an almost identical version.

While 1,500 guests - from heads of state and European royal families to lords and ladies - filled historic Westminster Abbey, Wynn's wedding was also spectacular.
Wynn, 69, invited a who's who of high rollers and celebrities to the $1 million Hollywood-style ceremony held at his Encore resort in Las Vegas.

Before the event it was suggested that the wedding could become a $10 million money-spinner for the casino king as the big gamblers rub shoulders with guests like Donald Trump, actors Sylvester Stallone and Hugh Jackman and singers Celine Dion and Garth Brooks.

The lavish arrangements prompted guests to dub it 'America's royal wedding.'
'Everybody is getting free rooms, making the cost of the wedding over $1 million. But it's good business,' a source told the New York Post last week.

The following day, 1,000 guests attended the 'Grand Celebration' in the Encore Ballroom at 7.30 pm planned by High School Musical director Kenny Ortega.
A farewell brunch was then held on Sunday morning.
Wynn's ex-wife, Elaine, the mother of his two children, is reported to have left town and attending financier Warren Buffett's annual Berkshire Hathaway investors' seminar in Omaha.
Last year year she got one of the largest divorce settlements in history -- $741 million in stock in Wynn Resorts.
Wynn met Hissom, in her forties, on the French Riviera in 2008.
HOW WYNN MADE HIS FORTUNE ON THE STRIP BY GAMBLING ON LUXURY CASINOS
The 2009 figures in Forbes' list of the world's wealthiest show Wynn was the 468th richest man (down from 277th) with a net worth of $1.5 billion (down from $3.9 billion).
He made his debut in the Forbes 400 at number 377 with a net worth of $650 million in September 2003, but was reported to be worth $1.1 billion only six months later.
He has been credited with spearheading the dramatic resurgence and expansion of the Las Vegas Strip in the 1990s.
The opulent Bellagio Hotel
His companies refurbished or built some of the most currently widely recognized resorts such as the Golden Nugget, The Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Wynn, and Encore.
His first major casino was the Mirage, which opened in 1989. It set a new standard for size and opulence featuring an indoor forest and an outdoor 'volcano' with high-quality room appointments and an emphasis on service.
The $630 million cost to build the facility was financed largely with junk bonds issued by Michael Milken.
Wynn's next project was Treasure Island hotel and casino, which opened in 1993 at a cost of $450 million.
With its live pirate show and location next to the Mirage, Treasure Island was another victory for Wynn. The Cirque du Soleil show was the first permanent one in Vegas.
Wynn expanded further with Bellagio, a $1.6 billion resort, including an artificial lake, indoor conservatory, a museum-quality art gallery and branches of high-end boutiques and restaurants from Paris, San Francisco, and New York City.
Bellagio was the most expensive hotel in the world and credited with starting a new spree of luxurious developments including The Venetian, Mandalay Bay, and Paris Las Vegas.
