She famously shed five stone and became a spokesperson for WeightWatchers.
But has Jennifer Hudson taken the dieting a little too far?
The 29-year-old Oscar-winning actress and singer showed off a remarkably slim frame as she attended the Mary J. Blige Honors Concert in New York tonight.

Wearing a clinging salmon pink dress which showed off her slender figure, the star looked remarkably different to her former U.S. size 16 self.
The Dream Girls star famously lost four dress sizes in two years on the weight loss programme.

Good spirits: Jennifer seemed happy and relaxed as she waved and posed for photographers

  But recently, even she has said her fiance, WWE wrestler David Otunga, doesn't want her to lose more weight.

'Some people don't like it so much and tell me to stop,' the star recently told Bang Showbiz. My fiancé tells me not to lose more.'
'He likes me very basic, no make-up, no heels, no fuss,' the singer explained.
'I think both of us are still struggling to come to terms with this new me.'

Hudson joined a slew of other stars at tonight's gala, held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in the Big Apple.

They were lending their support to the concert in aid of Blige's FFAWN’s Scholarship Fund which which helps send young women to college with full, four-year scholarships.
Blige herself looked stunning in a gold layered minidress, while singer Corinne Bailey Rae also lent her support in a simple pink sweater dress.
