Come next year Ryder Robinson will have a new sibling to help him wish Kate Hudson a happy Mother's Day.
But for now the youngster enjoyed his last year as her only child as he spent the U.S. holiday with his mother Kate Hudson.
The pair were spotted hand-in-hand as they arrived at Heathrow Airport in London, perhaps on their way to visit Kate's fiancé Matt Bellamy.

With her fiancé based in England and her home in Los Angeles, Kate is fast becoming a regular on the transatlantic flight path.
And while the actress is sure to experience only the most relaxing of journeys in first class, it looked as if she was feeling the effects of her journey.
Kate covered her eyes with a pair of sunglasses, pulling a cardigan over her head to hide her hair as she walked through Heathrow today.
With just weeks to go until the birth of her second child, Kate is not likely to be making too many more journeys before her due date.
Kate has enjoyed showing off her bump with a series of summery maternity outfits in recent weeks.
For her journey she focused on comfort, teaming a white maxi dress which clung to her bump with a hooded woollen cardigan.
The 32-year-old left her favourite heels at home, instead sticking to sensible flats.

With her second child due in July, Kate is still busy working, promoting her new movie Something Borrowed.
And the round of interviews has led to plenty of opportunities for questions about her new baby.
This week she revealed she is keeping her baby's sex a surprise until delivery, although she suspects it may be a girl.
Kate told chatshow host Ellen Degeneres that this pregnancy had been very different to her first.
'Although this one pushes down more. It is way more active than Ryder is,' said Kate.
'I think that everything has been so different that it is a girl. And it [pointing to her stomach] definitely doesn't belong to me anymore.'
