* YOU BEEN SNAP * YAWALETEENI ,LEONA LEWIS NA HABARI ZA MATAWI YAKE YA JUU"

You paid HOW much? Leona Lewis wears £800 scallop edged skirt suit - that looks homemade

*MKILETEWA HAPA NA FLORA LYIMO DESIGNER*
In February she stepped out showing off her very own fashion designs which consisted of high waisted skirts and cropped tops displaying lips, a bow and a bra.
And by the looks of things it seems that Leona Lewis is still trying to champion that style.
The singer turned up to the launch of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Hackney weekend in a beige two-piece outfit that consisted of a creme crepe skirt priced at £351 and a cropped top with sleeves priced at £459.

While the clothing had a feel of her own designs seen back in February, her outfit was actually by Tata Naka, designed by Georgian-born identical twins, Tamara and Natasha Surguladze.
The British Fashion Council has awarded Tata Naka with the celebrated New Generation award at London Fashion Week, and Leona's outfit displays the scallop-edge, an on-trend look for this season.
Instead of poker straight hair, which she was sporting at the start of the year Leona wore her dark locks with a slight wave in them.
Leona teamed her outfit with a pair of orange-red suede shoes and matching nails to finish off the look.

But while she went matchy matchy for the photo call Leona changed into a pair of high-waisted navy trousers to take to the stage but kept the cropped scallop blouse.
Leona and Ivor Novello award winner Plan B are the  first two names to sign up to the event due to take place in 2012 which is set to feature 80 acts in total.
The free concert will take place in London’s Hackney Marshes on June 23rd and 24th the same weekend Glastonbury usually takes place.

The Somerset festival will be taking a year off next year and Radio One hope their weekend offering will fill the space.
It will also be the first major event of the London 2012 Festival, which kicks off on June 21st and which will feature artists from all over the world taking part in events to celebrate the Olympics.
Leona said: 'To be part of this event is so important to me.’
'I'm so excited about the opportunities and the excitement it will bring to the area.'
'Radio 1 are going to put on the biggest show in their history and it is happening in East London - I couldn't be happier.'
