After yesterday's grey skies thunderstorms the sun is shining again... and Kelly Rowland looked suitably summery in a joyful canary yellow frock at today's X Factor auditions.

The former Destiny's Child singer dazzled in the bright, on-trend frock which showed off her svelte figure to perfection.

The 30-year-old won the fashion war by miles at the Cardiff round of auditions, teaming the gorgeous Victoria Beckham Spring 2011 dress with a pair of electric blue heels.

The canary yellow shade has been hugely popular this season, seen recently on Beyonce, Eva Longoria and TOWIE's Lydia Bright.

Kelly has flown back into the UK from Los Angeles, where she attended the BET Awards over the weekend.

There was speculation that Kelly would be joining ex-band mate Beyonce on stage with Michelle Williams at Beyonce's headlining gig at Glastonbury, but the rumours turned out to be just that.

While Kelly's outfit in Cardiff today was perfect, opinion is divided on her fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

The N-Dubz singer wore a futuristic grey top with exaggerated shoulder pads and a silver metal belt.

But her ill-fitting grey mini skirt detracted from the structured statement top, and her black socks with patent booties made her appear shorter.

Tulisa added sunglasses to the outfit and wore her hair in a slick high ponytail for the Welsh round of auditions.

Xtra Factor presenters Olly Murs and Caroline Flack were spotted joking around in the background as Kelly posed for pictures outside the judges' hotel. Caroline looked cute in a white lace babydoll dress with black bow.
Also spotted leaving the hotel was Louis Walsh, who was in high spirits following yesterday's news that he is no longer under investigation for sexual assault.

In a turn of events, the 24-year-old man who claimed Walsh indecently assaulted him in the toilets of a Dublin nightclub has confessed that he lied to police, and is now set to be charged with extortion and wasting police time.

In a statement Walsh said: ‘This has been a hugely distressing time for me but I would like to thank all my friends and colleagues for their support and I am now just looking forward to getting back to work.’
