EULOGY

John Dennis Otieno -Magero
30/November /1930- 20/January 2012
Born in Bunyala Kenya in 1930, John attended Mdembi Primary School and St Mary's Secondary School Yala. He went on to train as a teacher at Siriba Collage and taught for a while in Kenya. John married Agnes R Odawa in 1955.Before coming to UK in 1962,he was appointed the youngest ever headmaster in the region .On arrival in the UK he attended the LSE and joined in the UK by his family in 1963.When he finished univesity he started working for the civil and postal services,until 1985 when he retired.

John is a father to TEN children . 6 children with Agnes, 2 with Beatrice and 2 with Ruth . Altogether there are eleven Grandchildren .he spend the last few years of his life with Frahisha.
He had his first strock in 2006 and battled illness on and off from then.He recently deteriorated considerably passing away peacefully at King's College Hospital on 20/January 2012.

He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
