Did you know during the 1950s Show models and photographic models were two diffrent breeds:Show models were not necessarily beautiful,the basic requirements were a lean trim figure and a graceful walk,photographic models needed LARGE EYES,good bones and translucent skin .During the decode,as modelling became a respectable profession,it was the photographic models who first courted fame.
The beauties of the day were Suzy Parker,Dovima,Lisa Fonssagrives,Anne Gunning,Dorian Leigh and the impossibly elegant Barbara Goalen.
