The paddock was a sea of colour, as racegoers resplendent in tropical print, bold brights and enormous hats returned for a fourth day of racing on Armed Forces Day at Royal Ascot.
Although neutrals and classic black and white have led the style stakes for the last three days, today, arriving guests demonstrated a flair for colour with many opting for daring combinations such as bright pink and orange.
Others showed off their individual style with a series of unusual hats, among them teetering towers of feathers and vast satellite-style cocktail hats, many decorated with blooms.
