A suspected stowaway was found dead on the roof of a London office block after plunging from a jumbo jet as it approached Heathrow Airport.
The man's body was discovered on top of the offices of NotOnTheHighStreet.com, which is on a busy road in the south-west of the capital, yesterday morning.
Another stowaway survived the 8,000-mile flight from South Africa before being taken to hospital, where he is now fighting for his life.

It is believed the two men sneaked on to flight BA0054 before it set off from Johannesburg airport on Wednesday evening.
The man who died is then thought to have hidden in the wheel recess during the airliner's 11-hour five-minute overnight flight to London.
It is understood he fell out as the undercarriage came down on the plane's approach to Heathrow. It is not known whether he died during the flight or from the fall.
The other man - believed to be 24 - survived and was rushed to hospital when the plane landed. He is said to be in a 'critical' condition. ''MUNGU WANGU ''MPONYE AMEN''

Describing the case of the man who survived the flight, the police spokesman added: 'The man, believed aged 24, was found in the undercarriage of the plane and was taken to hospital. His condition is now described as critical.
'Whilst police officers at Heathrow believe they know his identity they await its confirmation before releasing any details of his nationality.'
British Airways has described the case as 'very rare'.
A spokesman for NotOnTheHighStreet.com said there was 'early indications are that the body may be that of an airline stowaway', and added: 'The incident is unrelated to the business or its team members.'
In August 2012, the body of a man was found in the landing gear of another Boeing 747 after it landed on a flight from Cape Town, South Africa.
The following month, the body of a man from Mozambique fell from a British Airways plane flying into Heathrow from Luanda, Angola.
In July 2013, a stowaway was found frozen to death in the undercarriage of another BA jet following a flight from Istanbul to Heathrow.

POLICE STRUGGLED TO IDENTIFY MAN IN PREVIOUS INCIDENT: IMMIGRANT FROM MOZAMBIQUE HAD JUST ONE POUND IN HIS POCKET WHEN HE DIED

In September 2012, a man from Mozambique fell to the ground in a suburban street in Mortlake, not far from Richmond, in an apparently similar incident.
The stowaway, later named as José Matada, was found in Portman Avenue, ten miles from the airport.
Police initially struggled to identify him but he was eventually identified using his mobile phone.
Detective sergeant Jeremy Allsup, from the Metropolitan Police, told his inquest that officers contacted a woman in Switzerland who had exchanged text messages with Mr Matada.
The woman told police Mr Matada had worked for her family as a housekeeper and gardener in South Africa and had spoken to her about travelling to Europe.
She told officers that although she had done nothing to facilitate his trip, she knew Mr Matada had 'desired to travel to Europe for a better life', Mr Allsup said.
Mr Matada died on his 26th birthday, with a single pound coin in his pocket, as well as currency from Botswana and Angola.
It is believed he would have fallen unconscious due to low oxygen levels and temperatures of -60C in the wheel recess of the BA76 Boeing 777 from Luanda, the Angolan capital.
Despite wearing only light clothes, a pathologist found he had survived most of the journey, but died before he fell to the ground.
Detectives initially believed Mr Matada was from Angola as he had the country's currency on him when he was found in the street in Mortlake. But after analysing his phone, he was found to be from Mozambique

Dear god in heaven. I cannot even imagine the kind of desperation or desire to live in this country, that would compel anyone to stowaway in the undercarriage of a plane for 11 hours. How horrible. Clearly neither man could have any real idea of just how horrendous their jouney would be. Freezing and barely able to breathe. I feel ill just thinking about their 11 hour ordeal, and have no idea how one man managed to survive at all. It is terribly sad.
