*YOU BEEN SNAP* Hugh Grant racks up bar tab worth £5.45 at local pub in Dover... but leaves without paying"

By Miss FB Lyimo*
Hugh Grant might be one of Britain’s most successful actors, but he still managed to get out of paying £5.45 for his latest bar tab.
The Four Weddings and a Funeral star was enjoying a drink of Spitfire ale while buying a round at his favourite pub in Dover and chatting to the locals, but then left without paying.
He initially ordered a couple of rounds for himself and his golfing partner but after realising the ale was stronger than he thought and he had to drive, he drained his pint glass, shook the hands of his fans in the pub and left.

The pub landlord assumes the 50-year-old Bridget Jones actor just forgot to pay after being distracted by fellow pub goers wanting autographs.
Landlord of The Castle Inn, Paul McMullan, said: 'People normally hand over the money when they get the beer but a couple of guys at the bar asked for his autograph and I assume he got distracted.

'We only charge £2.80 a pint and you’d have thought with his millions he could afford it but when he started talking about how he’d been unwell I didn’t like to ask, and then he shook my hand and posed for a photo.
'If he does it all round the country then it’s a great scam to get free drinks but if this was a one off I will put it down to an honest mistake.'

Hugh was at the pub celebrating his return to fitness after his recent health scare by ordering four beers and a packet of crisps.
He told locals how he’d woken up unable to breathe a week earlier and panicked.
He said he had checked himself into hospital with chest pains and was ‘hugely’ relieved to get the all clear. He decided to test his fitness firstly with a round of golf and then a beer in a traditional boozer.
Over his beer Hugh recounted his brush with A&E. He said: 'I woke up and I just couldn’t breath. I had a tight feeling in my chest and I feared the worst and went straight to hospital.
'It was a real worry and a relief to be given the all clear and thankfully I am fine.

'I really fancied a round of golf and decided to test myself with a drive down to Sandwich to play at Royal St Georges where they are doing a lot of work preparing for this year’s Open.'
The star then gave landlady Georgia MacKenzie a hug and the 24-year-old asked him if he would marry her. Grant joked: 'Well clearly there are some benefits to being an actor and I do get paid an awfully large amount of money.'
Miss MacKenzie said: 'He is much better looking in real life than on screen and looks perfectly fit and healthy. It is good to see him looking so well.'
Barman Matt Sheppherd, 23, said: 'I asked him to sign an autograph for my niece and he wrote her a lovely little message. He is a really nice guy, he still didn’t pay for his pint though.'
