Katy Perry seems to have confused California with Candyland.
The pop tart changed into a variety of confectionary-inspired costumes during her show at LA's Nokia Theatre last night; it was the first of her three sold-out shows in Los Angeles.
In front of a backdrop that included gingerbread men, Gummie Bears and girls in cupcake dresses, the singer turned her California Dreams tour into Candyfornia.

Goody goody gumdrops: The Teenage Dream singer dressed up like a candy button last night
Wearing a silver lame bikini and a blue wig reminiscent of Smurfette - which she voice for the recent Smurfs movie - Katy morphed into a giant Hershey's kiss.
She kept the wig on while turning herself into a sheet of candy buttons using a white one-piece bodysuit.
Not all of the outfits were candy costumes, despite confectionary being the prevalent theme behind her tour.
She donned a sparkling giant feathers, a tiara and a sparkling blue and purple bodysuit to perform the single Peacock.

Candy coloured Peacock: The pop star dresses up to sing her hit single, Peacock;
She changed into a sequinned mint green dress covered with candy canes and lollipops, a giant orange boa thrown over her arm.
The 26-year-old also gave new Catwoman Anne Hathaway a run for her money by appearing in a form-fitting black catsuit and ears as well as a black wig.
New pal Rebecca Black game out during the two hour show to duet with Katy on her hit song, Friday, devoid of any neon-hued hair colour.
The Teenage Dream singer has also been playing around with candy-coloured hair dye in her real life.
Here kitty kitty: Russell Brand's other half dressed up as Catwoman turning her California Dreamin tour;
She's changed her colour several times in the last few weeks; while promoting the Smurfs, she went blonde to look like her character, Smurfette.
However, she was photographed at an LA gas station earlier this week with husband Russell Brand sporting hot pink locks.
At least she has no reason to be as blue as the character she plays. Why? The Smurfs has raked in $65,222,253 worldwide since opening last weekend.
