She gave birth just three weeks ago, enduring a traumatic labour which almost cost her life.
So it would be understandable if Amanda Holden felt the need to take some time off work to rest up.
But not only has the determined 41-year-old already returned to judge the Britain's Got Talent auditions, she looks better than ever before.
The stunning blonde displayed her astonishing figure in a gorgeous blue dress as she arrived at the ICC in Birmingham this afternoon.
There's no doubt that Amanda is feeling as good as she looks, and the 41-year-old beamed as she made her arrival.
Her sweet prom-style ensemble featured transparent lace around the neckline and detail embellished over the main body of the dress, with the above-the-knee hemline showcasing her slender legs.
One fan who was present said Amanda looked incredible, admitting: 'She looked very tidy indeed, considering what she's been through, she looked amazing in that dress.'
Amanda tweeted a cute backstage shot of herself with daughter Hollie before the judging got underway, writing: 'Mama's ready is Birmingham ready?!!'
Meanwhile ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon wore a colourful short tulip dress coupled with white heels, displaying her long toned legs.
Judge David Walliams was smart in a suit, while Simon Cowell looked rather more casual in jeans and a navy sweater.
The music mogul playfully pulled his top up to reveal the trademark high waist on his trousers.
Amanda expressed her delight to be up and about yesterday, posting: 'Feeling so happy!Bursting with energy!Back on school run and doing naughty shopping -can't wait for BGT Birmingham this wkd!#newleaseoflife!'
The star has certainly made a speedy recovery, considering she spent three days in intensive care after giving birth to Hollie.
And she's adamant this year will be better following a testing 2011.
She wrote on her Twitter page last Thursday: 'Thank you for your Birthday wishes!Been very spoilt. I am officially 41 today- but decided to stay 40! as 2011 was blinkin rubbish... x'
The actress has already shown Hollie off by posing for a family photo with husband Chris Hughes and her eldest daughter, six-year-old Lexi.
It's good to see her looking so happy after the terrifying ordeal during her labour while welcoming Hollie into the world.
Amanda nearly died after the traumatic birth when she went into labour a week early while filming for Simon Cowell's TV talent show.
The blonde entertainer was kept in intensive care for three days – and was forced apart from her newborn daughter, who weighed in at just over six pounds on January 23.
But her spokesperson released a statement following her birth revealing the couple's happiness.
The rep said: 'Amanda and Chris would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication, and also to thank everyone who sent such kind thoughts and wishes during this time'
Amanda has since rejoined Britain's Got Talent alongside Cowell and new panelists Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
Amanda originally appeared on stage at the Theatre Royal when she took on the part of Princess Fiona in the West End version of the animated movie.
But she soon made way for Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh to take over from her when she quit to concentrate on motherhood.
