Not in the shop like this and not where everyone is staring at you ''I look for somewhere discreet to pray where I'm less likely to get in anyone's way. If I'm in a shopping centre I might go into a clothes shop and take an item of clothing to the changing room and pray there. Which is what she should of done' Otherwise I might find a quiet side street or hallway. I also tie my handbag and straps etc around me thoroughly just so that it would be much more difficult for anyone to try to grab it or steal it whilst I'm praying.

I'd suggest don't pray too close to the walls (I know it's tempting cos' you don't want people walking in front of you) or corners because it's common for people to urinate in such places. If you are concerned that the ground/floor might not be clean, then lay something on the floor such as a jacket or carrier bag or anything clean in your possession.
