'I hated it!' Mariah Carey, 43, revealed on Hot 97 that she found her time on American Idol like working in 'hell'

'Satan' was her nod to fellow judge Minaj, with whom she had a high-profile running spat during their time on the talent show.
Chatting and quaffing champagne with Angie Martinez on HOT 97, Mariah then attempted to backtrack.
'I'm just playing!' she laughed. 'It didn't affect me that much. I was disappointed.'
